My love affair with @pencottcamo started somewhere in 2011, with a blog post of SSD or Military Morons - honestly I can't remember.

Since then I had the chance to try out almost all of their patterns, meet Dom and Lawrence personally or see the ups and downs. I am still amazed how well the patterns hold up against newcomers and official military patterns.

I am used to getting surprised by Tasmanian Tiger on a regular basis and this pack is no exception. They managed not only to come up with a new carrying system that makes the pack adaptable to almost all heights as well as in combination with plate carriers and such. They also added a nice feature that ended the debate on whether or not compression straps should be in front or behind the zipper.
