Enforce Tac 2022 – Tilak Military
Tilak Military Gear is a subdivision of the Czech outdoor company Tilak, which offers high quality technical apparel in military solid colors and camouflage. So it makes sense to find them at Enforce Tac, where they exhibited their newest or upgraded products.
Tilak focuses on Multicam only, as it is the prefered camouflage of NATO forces, but added Multicam Alpine and Black to their portfolio.
The Verso jacket (review of old model here) underwent an upgrade, with an added hood and reinforced shoulders. It is also available in Multicam now.
A new jacket, which was already teased by Tilak on social media, is the Nebba. It is a lightweight shell, using Pertex Microlight, with an added insulation layer of Polartec Alpha. The inside looks quite fuzzy and warm, giving the promise of a comfortable and warm package. To keep weight low and manage heat, the insulation stops at the bizeps.
More colors are also available for Tilak’s windshirt Tind. Using lightweight and stretchable Nylon with DWR treatment, this packable shirt is an excellent wind protection and additional layer, when needed.
What was new was an oversized Level 7 jacket, insulated with Climashield Apex. The jacket is called Siberia, and the name says it all. Insulated with 165g/m2 this is fitted with more insulation than most Level 7 jackets. This jacket comes in all the above mentioned Multicam variants, as well as khaki and black.
Other than that Tilak Military Gear showcased their regular portfolio, but also neat little features, like the Expander for the Raptor MIG jacket, which enables users to make their jacket bigger to carry plate carriers or chest rigs underneath.
The high quality of Tilak impressed me several times and the jackets I own from them are still going strong after several years. For more information visit their homepage, or dig deeper into my reviews of the Verso or Loke jacket.
