Being back from Corsica, I want to share some impr Being back from Corsica, I want to share some impressions of @novritsch_textile_gear Kreuzotter Adaptive. While the line-up is still not available yet (#comingsoon) I was able to grab a sample shortly before the trip. First impressions: 1) the colors are spot on and work nicely with the pattern geometry. 2) while not being as disruptive as regular Kreuzotter, or Kreuzotter amber, the "adaptive" variant does an excellent job in blending in. 3) the environments I took the pictures in were the ideal setting for the pattern: semi-arid, rocky and dry. Finally: I was really surprised on how well that Hot Weather Boonie from Novritsch works. The mesh is placed precisely were it needs to be and you could feel the ventilation! More on this pattern as soon as it is available. #pinesurvey #novritsch #novritsch_textile_gear #kreuzottercamo

I do like large fixed blades, but medium sized bla I do like large fixed blades, but medium sized blades are obviously more useful for a lot of tasks. Five inch tactical blades somehow hit a sweet spot. What do you guys carry/use/collect and why! I amassed a ton of knives over the years. These were just the onces I quickly could grab: Ontario 499 Pilot Knife, Fox ETK Exagon, Ka-Bar Short 1256, SOG Seal Pup (regular and Elite), Ka-Bar MK1 USN, ANV Knives M311 comp, and ANV M25. #knives #pinesurvey #tactical #edc #bushcraft

During Enforce Tac 2026 @pencottcamo announced a n During Enforce Tac 2026 @pencottcamo announced a new cooperation with Wide Plus. As a result, Greenzone fabrics will be easily available again. NyCo, Cordura, and others (see the press release on the blog). The print is as good as it gets and NIR compliant. Shown here is the new print (left) and the 2011 print (right). To get an idea, Wide Plus put together a generic uniform and I had the privilege to get one. So stay tuned for some pictures as soon as possible. I am curious which company will be first to start production again. With some luck, we will see some products already this year. #camouflage #pencott #pinesurvey #enforcetac2026
Finally I was able to try out @kickingmustang 's o Finally I was able to try out @kickingmustang 's oakland ghillie suit. Wanted to know how it performs without additional leaves attached, straight out of the box. And even though the beech forest was overall brighter, you get an idea about the performance of this ghillie suit. Will try to find some darker forests as well. Stay tuned #pinesurvey #kickingmustang #ghillie #ghilliesuit #camouflage
Enforce Tac 2026 was a blast. Took it slow this ye Enforce Tac 2026 was a blast. Took it slow this year as the amazing guys of @epiggroup are covering the show as always, so make sure to head there for more insights. I have already uploaded several galleries with my impressions for my patrons. The show is crazy. It doubled in size again, and will be even bigger next year. There are many cool products out there, mainly updates on existing items etc. That being said, it is nice to catch up with friends and partners, witness bizarre situations like demonstrations and proud egos, and in between talk with professionals about details the normal user wouldn't even realize. #enforcetac2026 #pinesurvey #gear #blogger

MFH released their US-T-Shirt, Cap, BDU-Pants, Multi-purpose Tarp as well as their "High Defence" Softshell Jacket in the Austrian camouflage print. These are not made of army materials, instead MFH went made a very good reproduction of the pattern and the colors are spot on - with the Softshell being a bit brighter bc of the material.
