While Sposn's SS-Leto has a bluish tint and tends to stand out on gras and such, it does perform well in mixed forests as needles of coniferous trees as well as some leaves tend to have that exact hue. The contrast of the brown and khaki colors is as disruptive as it gets, resulting in an excellent camouflage performance. So yesterday @_der_rauber_ spent a good amount of So yesterday @_der_rauber_ spent a good amount of time checking various camouflage patterns for their IR properties. One of the main interests was, how their Kreuzotter camouflage performs under IR, despite the fact that they do not have it IR treated. They simply have no need for it, being a company doing gear for airsoft enthusiasts However (!), the Kreuzotter pattern does not glow under IR! It might not have a great contrast like specially treated fabrics, but it also is not too dark. Here is a comparison shot with original Tigerstripe products (desert and green, l.t.r.) We had a few more surprises, especially when it comes to some boutique brands like Lindnerhof, but more on that soon...
