Die deutsche Version kann im Tacticalforum nachgelesen werden:

It is my pleasure to present to you another contribution by my dear friend Alzwolf. He took his pair of UFPRO’s P-40 Tactical Shorts out and about and gives you a quick walk through in the following review. Enjoy

UF PRO P-40 Tactical Shorts

Who does not know this kind of situation: one carries practical trousers all year and wishes for the hot season and areas also another one as a short variation. Unfortunately, my short leather trousers cannot take up so many objects and this is why the P-40 Tactical Short of UFPRO came exactly at the right time.

P-40 Tactical Short

The 700 grammes lightweight P-40 Tactical Short will provide Schoeller ®-dynamic material in the lumbar and bottom areas and therefore provides very good mobility during physical activities. The other material used is a very robust and colour-firm polyester and cotton riptop fabric.

Stretch material on the back

If you are already familiar with ther P-40 all terrain or Striker XT pants by UFPRO, you will be also inspired by the pocket configuration of the P-40 Tactical Shorts. Identical construction and arrangement make the access easier and one does not require himself to change or retrain (!).

Cargo Pockets

In the bottom area there are two pockets, in front two trouser pockets with the Safety Pocket. The side pockets are big, well split roomy and well organized inside. The side pockets can be accessed from two sides, especially if one sits or kneels this is very practical. In the front femoral area are two gear pockets which allow to store smaller objects like flashlights, a knife, anything up to a reserve magazine.
Outside in the side pocket is a pencil pocket, which also offers place for a chemical light. For me as a Geocacher this is a sensible thing, because I always need something to write.

On the side pocket itself, there is another gear pocket provided with velcro fastening. One can attach the removable velcro fastening in a variably fashion. A rolled up dog leash has enough room in it.

The inside divisions in the side pockets enable you to store easily a GPS device, a Samsung S4 mobile phone, a large set of bandages and, according to the manufacturer, even a M4 magazine.
In the leg end an elastic is provided for the width regulation.

Double belt loops offer the competitive shooter protection, and the opportunity to wear his competition belt solidly and certainly. The waist is elastic and provides fleece surfaces on the bundle, allowing to fix a belt.

Concluding remarks:

The trousers are suited very well to hiking, climbing, Geocaching, martial arts, dog sport etc. They are reliable and robust trousers. They wear pleasantly, are easy to clean – and tactical! 😉
